cannot connect to internet. PC firewalled via ethernet. "no isp address"
i have windows xp on my pc. i cannot connect to the internet it tells me that im firewalled via ethernet. and i do not have a isp address and the isp address on my daughters laptop is different. my isp told me i need to download and install something off of microsoft that will automaticily fix my problem. i just don't know what i'm supposed to download and neither did my isp provider. can anyone help.

If your ISP said you need to download "something" to fix it, yet doesn't know what it is, how should we?
